About

Who are we?

We are kids, 5 to 10 years old, from Waterloo, ON, Canada. We are trying to help people in whatever way we can.

How did this start?

In previous years we raised funds for the food bank with garage sales and lemonade stands. But the pandemic made those activities challenging. So we decided to try an online store! We started with Rubber Band Crafts, but are slowly adding more collections, such as House Plants (Sold Out!), Fig Trees, and soon more!

How does it work?

We have a very simple process:

  1. Our parents donate raw materials (e.g. rubber bands).
  2. We use our time and love to make each product (OK, sometimes we get some help 😊).
  3. We sell our crafts online (see Delivery methods).
  4. All the proceeds go to charities of our choice!

Charities

Once we get some funds, we will choose a charity to donate to and will post in our Donations page. These are the charities we are thinking about at this point:

Delivery methods

  • We can deliver around Kitchener-Waterloo (well, our parents can!)
  • You can also chose curb-side pickup at our headquarters in Upper Beechwood, Waterloo (we will send the exact address once your order is ready)

Payment methods

  • We accept e-transfers (ideal because it does not have fees and is completed online) and cash-on-delivery. We also accept credit and debit cards, but note that the fees may lower the amount left for donation.

Donations

  • If desired, you can add a donation during checkout. Those donations go directly to a charity! This is a great way to round up your checkout. (Note that a limitation in our system means you currently can donate at most the same amount of goods in your checkout).
